This Torah class is brought to you by TorahAnytime.com. B'shus, spinka Rebbe shlita, shus Rav Blum shlita. I want to thank Dr. Eli for opening up his home. I remember the home from his shver. It was a home of Torah and chesed. It was a home of giving and doing. I wish a bracha that your home should continue to be a makom, a place where we do chesed, and bonim uvnei bonim oskim baTorah uvmitzvos. I also want to acknowledge the great mesiras nefesh of the Leiblachim, the staff, Rav Nochum shlita and Rav Karmel. Hasreichem for what you do for Klal Yisrael, and you should be gebensht with bracha and hatzlacha and tremendous siyata dishmaya. We come here tonight to highlight the great mitzvah and obligation of kiruv rechokim. It's interesting, Rav Moshe Wolfson once told me—I learned in his class. He was the sixth grade Rebbe in Camp Torah Vodaath. Yetzes, he became a big mashgiach and a famous mashulim with the chassidus. He was my sixth grade Rebbe in Camp Torah Vodaath. He was telling us interesting inyanim. I went to check to see it's in his emunah sefer. I went to check it. He said that Purim is all about kiruv rechokim. This is a zman mesugal, a vegeshtelt. Azoy vi shteit in the pasuk, hakreivim v'harchokim. Madchik geschickt. What is kreivim, what's rechokim? It's a pasuk means the ones that are closer to Shushan and the ones that are farther from Shushan. What willstu? Der it says, hakreivim v'harchokim, habas, yesh lamechad. Purim is Klal Yisrael, eins, the yichud fun Klal Yisrael. Az one peoples, un nehele, hakreivim v'harchokim, l'kayem divrei yemei haPurim, l'kayem the Purim, das b'nichmasa, but das, the litvisher nusach in them, l'kayem is divrei haPurim ha'eileh, azoy das is Purim, kiruv rechokim. What is kiruv rechokim, rabosai? What is it? This is the zman that's supposed to work on kiruv rechokim. What is kiruv rechokim? There's a zayin in this week's parsha. If people would know and understand the greatness, zechus, the greatness mitzvah fun kiruv rechokim, volt men noch gelofen kiruv rechokim azoy vi men loopt leben. The way people run after life. Brought the Arizal. So in the nusach that the Arizal brought, this inyan, he said, Valt men farshteinen kirvah chaykim, valt men oysgevenen kirvah chaykim, yayin v'laylah tog un nacht. Vos is kirvah chaykim? What exactly? Vos is di greste kayt? Let me tell you a meiredike Torah, rabosai. In Shas it says in Medrash, parshah, Vayikchu li terumah, eis kol ish asher yidvenu libo, nedivas halev, geben, to give to the Mishkan. By now you probably know the kashya, it's alef regel, V'yikchu, nisht V'yitnu. You're giving, you're not taking. So what's going on? The gabbaim — that's the pashut pshat — the gabbaim went to collect, V'yikchu, they should take, tikchu terumasi. Ober shein yedua, l'veisin, mistama yihyu over Shabbos, they'll all say the same vort: you're not giving, the gift means to give. You're taking.

What you give is really what you're getting. Yichulin. So it's not vayitno, it's not sidaina. ... from kind vayisuf, ... Came home with the Shabbos papers ... Dortn steht, yikchu v'yitnu, ... Uvasa d'li, d'li lishmi. Efsher ken men zogn noch a taitsh in the vayikchu li, li, li. So far, so good. ... Yikchu. When the li is the li lishmi, the lishmah, efsher ken men zogn a andere taitsh. You hear the teretz that I said, and how the coincidence that this happened. And the reason why I'm saying this shmues is, ... a person a sapra b'chanif leisecha. I feel that I have to thank the Ribono Shel Olam. I feel I have to give over a shevach v'hoda'ah to the Ribono Shel Olam, so maybe this is what I have to say over tonight. So let me tell you, vasa d'li v'yikchu, v'yikchu li, vasa d'li, li. There's another Zohar in this week's parsha. The Zohar says that if someone does this great mitzvah of kiruv rechokim, v'taizche zayn oylam hazeh un oylam haba. נישט נאס. ... צו קינדער מיט איין ... בנים ובני בנים. ... אסקולה, אלע ... זוכט א סקולס. It's right here in the zoych. ... קינדער מיט איין ... בנים ובני. There's a Mishnah Berurah, a hafla'ah. Mishnah Berurah, siman reish lamed vav. Siman reish lamed vav, רעדט וועגן מאחרי זמן, מאחר. Shabbos comes, the tekiah used to blow shofar. Zogt the Mishnah Berurah, heint ... we ... make the siren, but ... in Europe ... ... zogt, so what do you do today? ... There are people who are menadev, who give. What are they menadev? What are they menadev? They go from street to street, from house to house. Shabbos, rabosai, Shabbos comes, ... erev Shabbos. ... דער טעם פון דער הכרזה, כדי שלא יבואו לחלל את השבת. People are going to be late for the Shabbos, late for ... Rav Dovel knows, the '72 of Rabbeinu Tam ... it was really based on because people came late to shul Friday night. That was people being mechalel Shabbos, so they decided to make this the later zman. That's how originally it started, the ... the '72. Look into it a little bit. That's where it started from. People today, you know, able to shut our stores early. But there was a time, a tekufah, where you didn't have to work mamish till right before Shabbos. So that's where the '72, k'dei to be matzil Yidden, to be matzil Yidden. Zogt the Mishnah Berurah, so these menadvim, these menadvim, what are they doing? They're going house to house to be machriz, to be mezarez if in Shabbos, k'dei sheyisku Yisrael lavi'em Shabbos Shamayim, zikaron harabim of Shabbos, of hiddur Shabbos, of hiddur mitzvos, zikaron harabim, v'yisku ... u'ma seh dal schus. Think that them zoyeh, yeah, bonim bnei bonim, zogt the Mishnah Berurah, v'yisku, what is their zechus? Gedoyle Yisrael, kinder gedoyle Yisrael. Furbisher Mishnah Berurah. You hear, right? Ale vilin segulos, kinder brachos, melevte brachos, baale gedoylim, melevtech of brachos, yeah? That's the segulah shevaldik.

Gewaltig, the bester, gedolei Yisrael, aftoche fun a Mishnah Berurah. Mishnah Berurah, וינציק גודל. Yet a haftochah, aftochah, aftochah. Sogt di ... פון vane krigt es? Where did I get this from? It's ... It's ... מישנה ברורה. There's ... one another, ... posuk. Zogt der reishes ... Shabbos, ... ner havdalah, ... talmidei chachamim, ner, ner Shabbos, ... mizetel koneh. Koneh, the tatte from Shmuel. He was ... ... he was ... oylem. He would tell them, Gei af oylem regel, gei af oylem regel. Oylem was a little bit lazy. He was ... gei tzurik in Beis Hamikdash. Hot er zoyche geven, a gadol hador, Shmuel. Why is ... banim ...? Why is that the midah keneged midah? Why is that the reward? Why is that the schar? ... Rebbi. ... That's ... ... That's ... ... What is it? ... ner, ner ... ... ... ... ... ... See, ... the whole. ... פסח, ... ... בנים ... ... מתן תורה, ... מתן שבת, ... ... אפשר. אפשר, ... אפשר, אפשר. ... ... עם הקמדרש, ... ממש ... ... אשת לפידות, היא שופטת את ישראל. She's a neviah, the shofetes, the manhiga, mamash. There were no men. There was no man that was able to be the shofet, ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... וכי פינחס בן אלעזר. Harei a chai, Pinchas ben Elazar leptach. Pinchas, the guy is a Pinchas ben Elazar. Havosa zelnish kimanik. Why'd they make him manik? Zogt the Medrash: favos heisi eshes lapidus. Lapidus is a flame, it's a fire, it's a candle. Zei shteit dem Medrash, baalah moretz. Geven an am haaretz. Barag geven an am haaretz. Ya, ta maaser, an am haaretz. Nisht barag. Ha? Eshes lapid, he was an am haaretz, yeah. So she wanted to give him a pesach. So kumi mitachleis, Beis Hamikdash, mita shtoltz. So she made these beautiful candles, and she put a lot of work, tachter ayv, with the candles. Yeah. And this should be beautiful. It should light beautiful in the Beis Hamikdash. Ribono shel olam, iz beichein, klaya is valev. Zogt, d'veira, at miskavant l'habos ori. Mayd lacht, my light should be yisrabed, mishpashi.

Chayecha vaski bichtei Tzerik, sheyisra be'orcha. Your light should shine. Two messages. You meant for me. You meant to be ... my ner, my licht. Malch Gavin Tzerik, sheyisra be'orcha, dein licht. So, ... shame, to be nispashet the ohr, lichtike dveira nevi'im, with dveira deSheifetes, from the whole twelve shevatim, dveira nevi'im. You know this loshon of the Chazal, At niskavant le'ori, al be'orcha, is really in the Medrash in this week's parsha, legabei the Mishkan. The Ribono Shel Olam says, Light menorah. Nercha, neri b'yadcha. Neri b'yadcha. I'm asking you. You need to light. So it's in your hands to do. I'm asking because you have to do the ma'aseh hadlokos, in Chayei Chazal, ... is neri b'yadcha. So I say to you, nercha b'yadi. Im tishmor es sheli, ani yishmor es shelcha. Do hishtadlus mineh. Der lechiten daine. Chaflu fel. Alia Teisvis. This week's parsha, they bring this medrash. Teisvis, Teisvis al haTorah zogt, Neiri. This is the Torah and the mitzvahs. Der Ribono Shel Olam git di Yid Torah mitzvahs. Mihit, di ner HaKadosh Baruch Hu. Der Ribono Shel Olam zogt, Der lechiten nercha, ner Hashem nishmas adam. I'll watch your neshama. You watch what I gave you. I saw Rebbi ... uses a loshon: Ich hob dir gegeben a pikadon, the Torah, the mitzvahs. I gave you a pikadon. Watch the pikadon, then I'll watch the pikadon you give to me every night. בידך אפקיד רוחי, בידך אפקיד רוחי. Du hitzt mayn Torah v'lechiten deine lichtalach. Du hitzt mayne v'lechiten deine. Rebbei, kirv chaykim. Der Ribono Shel Olam zogt, Du brengst metzirik, you bring me back mayne kinder. You give me my children. Derhalte geben deine kinder. Du hitzt Torah mitzvahs, derhalte geben deine kinder, zoln zayn gedoyle Torah. ותעילי ישנה, אם תשמעי שלי, אני אשמע שלך. יעדריי, רבייסי. Now you know what I was thinking. This happened mamish moments before I was going to give this drasha. I realized, Ribbono Shel Olam is showing me. תשמע שלי, ארבעט זיך רבהינג אין מייןע קינדער. היטן דיינע. I'll watch your children. I'll watch your children. Watch your children. אם תשמע שלי, אני אשמע שלך. You know, rabosai, the Ribbono Shel Olam cries over the galus. ... Daf Yomi, ... the brachos. ... the night, Ribbono Shel Olam is boichel naveiu. Vos fun the gantze churban, what is the Ribbono Shel Olam crying? Vos veint? אוי לאי לבנים שגלו מעל שולחן אביהם. אוי לאי לבנים שגלו. The falangene kinder. That's what the Ribbono Shel Olam is crying. Galus. Vos is galus? Dos is galus. Rechaykim is galus. Rechaykim is galus, and the...

He misses the children, pain and pashut. When az me git tzurik the kinder, when me brengt tzurik the kinder, is mimeila der Ribono Shel Olam git a haftachah, Tishma sheli, ani eshmor es shelcha. Let me tell you a beautiful story, rabosai. It's a sheina maaseh. Rabosai, in yeshiva, we don't have shitas who's allowed and who's not allowed. We don't have the protect yeshugia that only certain amounts of bank account. A Yid was kavua allowed in Kunkun b'ones in yeshiva allowed. We don't have. Tzufu? Tzufu? Okay. Sach bachen, kiruv, a lot of it is kiruv. Father once came to me and he said, I'm very upset at you. I'm angry. I'm going to come out against you. How yitachen you influence—he didn't say, how yitachen, he was going full—he says, how could it be that you influenced my son? My son. I have a lifestyle that I don't want. It's my son. It's your son? What right do you have to mix into your child? It's my child. It's my—I gave, me and my wife, we gave birth to him. We oisgehalten for them. What are you to come here? You're kidnapping, you're ganef, you're gonev, you stole my son. He was shouting in the kitchen, he was screaming at me. And the more he talked, the angrier he got. What do you answer a father like this? How yitachen? How yitachen? That's his son. What do you want my son? What are you putting in my son, the ideas in his head? I don't want it. If my son, what are you doing? This tikkun that I just told you, you understand, it's not just from today, you understand. This is teirah, this is kachtshe. Since my childhood, avos vashtan, vas is kiruv l'chaykim. The Rebbeinu Shleim's kinderlach, bzechus them, zoyche banim ubnei banim. They're your son. You know what I told him? I said, let me tell you something. It's true, it's your son. The Ribono Shel Olam looks, HaKadosh Baruch Hu looks at this boy, your son, as if it's His son too. HaKadosh Baruch Hu looks at him like, This is my son, and He loves him as a son maybe even more than you do. Not far. The Ribono Shel Olam is baal chesed, chagut. Graciously, He gave it to you to be the father. He let you be the father. Siz zayne. And He gave it to you, and He let you be the father, so to speak, that you should feel that it's yours and that you're the father, yeah? Now you want to turn around and what? Deny the father? That you have shaychus in your child's life, that that's what you want? He let you be the father. Who made you the father? It's His kid. It's better than that. Who told? I don't understand. You want to turn around and make that the father shouldn't have— He was nice enough to let you be the father, and then you want to deny your kid? We shouldn't have a kesher? We shouldn't have a relationship with his father in Shamayim? Why would you do that? First, why would you do that? You don't... The Ribono Shel Olam, ... tziz. He let me, let the kid, he let me have the kid, and the kid stayed in yeshiva. ... a talmid chacham, ... today. But they say, Das is v'yikchu li terumah. You're giving the Eibishter? How's the Eibishter gave you the money? ... Ribono Shel Olam. V'kechu, v'yikchu. What are you talking about? You ever see when a person tells his father, Give me a dollar for tzedakah so I can give it, yeah? So the father gives him a dollar, so the father... so who gave who? I gave you the money, vos redst? I gave it to you. So when you're giving, you're giving. You took it to give. But you know what else you're getting when you give? You're taking li, because in Tishma ... li, ani eshmer es shelcha. V'yikchu li. Put me into this. If you put me into this kinyan.

Into this nesinah, v'lechiten deine gelt, vi yikchu. Gist? Val si mayne? V'nishma esh li, and yesh. Un dos iz dem nederishn davar parsha. Tishma esh li, and yeshma shelcha. I see the time. Az oylem on a way two more minutes, so we should daven Maariv. Two minutes. B'vest, main two minutes is five minutes. Ach, lomir gezogn a gemar chasimah tovah. The makom shebaalei teshuvah omdim, ein tzaddikim gemurim yecholim la'amod. Why? Baalei teshuvah, mehr... all the fregen and all the redn. So there's a vort from Rabbi Yonason Eibshitz, and I don't know, maybe I mentioned here before. Zogt Rabbi Yonason Eibshitz, l'choirah there's a good problem in how do you do teshuvah? Teshuvah has to be b'shivrei halev, Rambam b'bechi, b'etzev. Zogt doch, v'hinei nichozeh b'shivrei lev... But you're going back to the Ribono Shel Olam. Dos toch teshuvah, yeah? Shuvah, shuv to the Ribono Shel Olam. And hashiveinu Hashem eilecha... it's mamash a stirah minei u'bei. The whole teshuvah is a chapircha minei u'bei. You come to return to the Ribono Shel Olam b'shivrei halev, and mevuld the b'shivrei halev of the teshuvah. On the outskirts, on the outside, the outer chambers, does the שמחה. ... Inside, inner chambers, ... of the מקדש and of the ... חזל זאגן תשובה הייסט א חטירה מתחת כסא הכבוד. וואס א חטירה? ... It's a tunnel. Digging a tunnel to get to the כסא הכבוד. ... Why do you need this tunnel? Because you have to bypass the בתי גוואי — I'm sorry, the בתי אבראי — וואס השמחה. Huh? So you need to go through the tunnel מתחת. And get to where? Where do you have to get to? The Batei Gavoi. ודעתן דרבינו שלם, echad is tzebrachen, un beshivrein a lev, u'bocheh al haMikdash v'al hagalus. And those are the pshatim makom shebaalei teshuvah omdim, ein tzaddikim gemurim yecholim la'amod, because they come near to the Batei Gavoi. They don't have the special path from underneath to get to the Batei Gavoi. They don't have to go there. So they are chaverim bimkomo, so they're standing on the outside. The baal teshuvah, the baal teshuvah hadavka comein to the Batei Gavoi, un dortn kumt er tzurik ad kisei hakavod. That's the pshat in the Gemara. Yodea l'teshuvah shemega'as ad kisei hakavod, deep in the Batei Gavoi, makom shebaalei teshuvah omdim, ein tzaddikim gemurim yecholim la'amod. Taich? Yet, mazbigiven, we just explained what is the galus, the עילוי לבנים שגלו על שולחן אביהם. What's the Ribono Shel Olam's bechiyah of the galus? What's the...

No? The oylam is ...? There's been a kinderl kumen tzurik. Who comes? It comes to the batei gavai, the richuk and the kiruv. Who is this? Where does it shtel zich oys? In the batei gavai. That's where it shtel zich oys, because that's where the Ribono Shel Olam ... on the oylam ... al shulchan avihem. Kiruv habayisai. I mentioned this phenomenal ... but kiruv doesn't have to be only on a big scale. There's a ... ... ... ... Everybody knows someone around him who could use a little bit ... chizuk. Always somebody. Kumen, help him. Help him davening, help him learning. ... kiruv, zikah harabim. This is the avodah, l'kayem aleihem es divrei hapurim hazos, hakrovim. Rabosai, Baruch Hashem, Klal Yisrael has kiruv organizations like Lev L'Achim. These are the tunnels that bring back Yiddishe kinder to the kisei hakavod. These are the tunnels where the Ribono Shel Olam awaits them. He awaits His children with tears, with longing, and with simchah. Lev L'Achim, you're one of these tunnels. We saw, we saw the work you put in, so we owe you so much. We need to stand here and thank you for your avodas hakodesh, and support, and do all that we could do, because this is the bringing back the Yiddishe kinder. It's a taten himmel, bringing back Yiddishe kinder. It's a taten himmel. We stand behind you, and we wish you hatzlachah, and we ask everyone to please help, help, zechus banim uvnei banim. And in this zechus, we should have the end of the galus, so much suffering, so much pain, and we should take a bizchah Mashiach. We should take a bizchah binyan Beis Hamikdash bimheirah b'yameinu, amen. You've just experienced another Torah class, brought to you by TorahAnytime.com.
