This Torah class is brought to you by TorahAnytime.com. Noach. We have the gevaldige chesed. Noach did, until teivah, 120 years. He fed all the animals. Olam chesed yibaneh. Our mussar speak, he had to rebuild the world. It had to be done through chesed. Olam chesed yibaneh. Uv'voy, uv'voy, to reconstruct a world that was charev needed chesed, immense chesed. And given the task, Noach completed that task. Yet, Chazal, according to yesh dorshim of the Chazal, they minimize Noach. There's a pasuk, Ish tzaddik tamim haya b'dorosav. Yesh dorshim l'shvach, yesh dorshim l'gnai. Everybody knows the Rashi. Yesh ... dorshim ... l'shvach. Kol shekein shelo haya b'dor tzaddikim, if he'd be b'dor tzaddikim, then he would be a tzaddik yoser. Ah, Noach, unbelievable. Yesh dorshim ... l'gnai. If he doro haya tzaddik, v'ilu haya b'doro shel Avraham, lo yechshev l'klum, hatanchuma Rashi brings. So Rashi is כלל not understanding, why are we comparing him to Avraham? Since when is there a measurement Avram, and then everybody who's not like Avram, all right, upgefregt. Yeder mentsh, Tav-zayin ver er iz. We all know how the mussar speak all the time. Yeder mentsh, Tav-zayin zich, has to be himself, right? Mit ayn harts, mit ayn seichel, tzu do, right? When somebody wanted to be like the Yisod v'shoresh ha'avodah, and he wanted to be like this gadol and that gadol, up in a malachum gezogt, mit ayn harts, mit ayn seichel, mit aynem middos. Yeder mentsh is an oylam umloyo. So why are we measuring him up to Avraham Avinu? That's it? Tav-zayin Avram? That's it, you're not like Avram. Tsveytens, second of all, apeleh, v'nechshav li klum? Nothing, a nobody. How many times do we speak, chas v'shalom, if I'd say he's a nobody. Zei hetten a fayit, a nobody. Nechshav li klum. Good, Noach haTzadik, nisken yedakei the prushes derachim. By the way, Noach had a bris milah, it's mefurash in Tanchuma, he was noled mahul. On the pasuk, arurah ha'adamah, shteit klal, zeh Yenachmeinu mi'itzvon yadeinu was Noach. Shteit in Tanchuma that how did Chanoch know what was a navi? And the real reason, pshat, it's yadua, that parents, when they give names, shteit the name Elimelech, it is a shtikel ruach hakodesh, because the name is kagorem. How does anyone ever know in the Torahtz's parents? What they come in their heart to give a name is a shtikel ruach hakodesh. Names is not a pashte zach. Based on Chaim Kanievsky, shlita, the names, Chazon Ish, there was a big emphasis. Why? Names is nisht a pashte zach. About components in Tanchuma, shteit, v'chi hadkatelcha kodesh, doctor, the name, the kivus. The Rabbeinu Shalom said whoever is born with a bris milah will be a tikun on the eitz hadaas, ayin Tanchuma on the pasuk, arur adamah, noach noled moel. He was born moel. Chazal tell us, lo mateira, nikra behei mateira. How does he know? Chazal say, גילם תורה, מלמד שלמד תורה. You look at the hakdamah to the Azil HaMelech, it says clearly, hisnaheg atzmoi, Noach was mamash noheg himself b'kedushah u'betaharah. Yeah, it says, Azil HaMelech. V'gam tovel atzmoi b'mikveh. It says, shteit. He used to go to the mikveh, Azil HaMelech, hakdamah. Lo nechshad l'klum. That's who you're machavek, lo nechshad l'klum? Chap ela. Yeah, rabbeisai, these are the two she'eilos. Right away, strike, come out, come out apparently, as soon as you read the pesukim. Reishis kol, why do we measure in Avraham Avinu? Avin netman hatzaddik vinoach, u'mezaretechem lo nechshad l'klum.

Beis .... There's a meyredike pshat over here. There's a Chazal. Chazal tell us that there were two people. It's a Bereishis Rabbah, lamed-vav. Two people, mezan u'mefarneses kol ha'olam. It's a Tanchuma, nun ches, as well. States in Medrash, Amru Chazal, shnei bnei adam nikru tzaddikim al shezanu es habriyos. They gave to eat. A Medrash. Noach, Yosef, shekasiv, al michram bakesef tzaddik, vayechalku Yosef. Meyredik. That's why I'm bringing this Medrash. It's beautiful. But ... the quintessential English, not even the quintessential. The one that stands as a siman for zanes habriyos is not Avraham Avinu. Maybe the Chazal just trying to say that the word tzaddik, we find here tzaddik by Noach and we find here tzaddik by Yosef, but the word tzaddik is not found by Avraham. So maybe that's all what the Chazal want. They just want the word tzaddik, but not that Avraham, that wasn't zanes habriyos. Chapela, yeah? Chamamsh a pele. Avraham Avinu. Avraham was the mezan. Avraham Avinu, eishel. He created the whole idea of having a hotel to feed people. Fakert, a gadol legimah. Where do we learn out the inyan that it's so important to feed, and the zechus of giving people kiddush lmosh? Where does it come from? It comes from Avraham Avinu, gadol legimah. You feed a person, you make him make a brachos. Ah, meyredik. That's why we make a kiddush in shul. So Avraham is the mekor for gedaylah l'gimel. Why do Chazal leave him out of the list? Hapela. Huh? He wasn't zan all the briyos. Wasn't zan all the briyos. Yosef was zan all because of Mitzrayim and the Ivdim. How about all the people in Canaan? Avraham was a single person looking. The other one was looking out for guests, but Yitzchok and Noach both saved their nation. Yosef saved from the hunger. Noach saved all the animals from dying. I'm telling you, this would be beautiful. That's what Chazal said. Chazal don't use those words. Chazal use the words, zanu es habriyos. They fed people. If you want to talk about feeding people, all right, so listen. I give you the opportunity to think about it and to say your pshat in the Medrash. Simple pshat in the Medrash, I would say, is a little different, if I may. What is the pshat? Then there's another Medrash. There's a Medrash Sheicher Tov. The Medrash says that actually there was no such thing as tzedakah till Avraham Avinu came. The Medrash, Sheicher Tov: Mi he'ir mi mizrach tzedek? It's a pasuk in Yeshaya. Mi he'ir? Who woke up tzedek means who was mechadesh? Who was sleeping, says the Medrash. Haysa yesheinah. Tzedek was yeshenah. Vehe'ir Avraham, and Avraham woke up tzedek. Why? Asa lei pundek, u'pasal lei pesachim, lecharuach, v'hayah mekabel ovrim v'shavim, like it says, Vayita eshel. But Noach is not tzedek. He'ir ha-tzedek. The concept of... Of doing a tzedek, feeding, giving, doing, was sleeping. ... unless maybe from Noach to Avraham, he was sleeping maybe. ... that's all the Medrash means. But pashut, it's mashma that till Avraham, ... tzedek, tzedakah, chesed, Noach. I have even a bigger kushya. You ready for a shaylah on our beis din? Who did Avraham Avinu learn his chesed from? Who was his rebbe? Avimelech, Avimelech in the war, Avimelech said ... Okay, so that's your pshat. I'll tell you what the Medrash says. The Medrash was Noach. ... So it doesn't have to be living, maybe he heard legends of him. They were, but it's not even the point. The point is, everybody heard of Noach. And if everybody heard of Noach, if everybody heard of Noach, Avraham heard of Noach and he was mekaneh. That's what the Medrash. Oh, look, look what he did. ... I'm going to build the eishel. Something's wrong here. On one hand, Avraham is not in the list. Noach is in the list. On the other hand, Avraham...

As a matter of fact, Iyov came and said, I'm like Avraham. Iyov used to feed orchim. Stop the Ribono Shel Olam. What, Iyov? Do mainstream. Avraham Avinu. What's right? Avraham Avinu went and he fed differently. You just fed re'eivim and tzameim and baalei shecharumim. Avraham Avinu stood by the door and the mamish, he was running after every person to do it. How do we explain the difference between—yeah, hakasha, a medrash, eh? Medrash is a klal. Avraham Avinu, Iyov, Iyov hayah yoshev b'veiso mekabel orchim, ma'achil re'eivim, mashkeh tzameim, baalei shecharumim. No, that's nothing. Avraham, Avraham. What's the shlecht? The medrash—ma'achil re'eivim, tzameim. Why are we minimizing it? What is the difference between Noach, Yosef, Yosef, and Avraham Avinu? I'll tell you what I think the pshat is. There's a medrash that says about Noach, and it's interesting the Baal HaTurim brings it: Vayikach nefashos chacham. Saving lives is a chacham, as the kluger mentions. The kluger mentions. The Baal HaTurim says it's merumaz in the pasuk: Es haElokim hishalech Noach, sofei teivos chacham, says the Baal HaTurim. And then he brings this medrash: V'zehu shene'emar... U'lekach nefashos chochmah. Taking, saving, protecting nefashos is chochmah, is a chacham. What's with chesed? A chacham is a chacham to protect people? Must be the Baal HaTurim, es Elokim hisalech Noach. I'll tell you even more. Es Elokim hisalech Noach, Chazal say actually minimizes Noach. Chazal say Avraham Avinu didn't need es Elokim hisalech Noach. Avraham was holech me'atzmo; he didn't need support. And of them, the pasuk was Chazal, in one place, tells us is a minimization of the greatness of Noach. Chazal say, Oh, that's pshat. V'lakach nefashos chacham, is a chacham. In the sefer Tevis is chacham. Must link to that chesed. The tenet, chesed, is two types of chesed. There's chesed that wisdom, seichel, and yashrus — let us call it chachmah — requires. A wise man knows he's got to save people and help people and do for people. Then there's a whole type of chesed which is not so much in the mind. It's not so much because the person thinks it's right, but that the heart, his lev draws him to do chesed. Chazal are splitting and dividing the chesed of Noach to the chesed of Avraham Avinu. The chesed of Noach came from chachmah; it was wisdom. Noach was yashar, tzaddik tam, hayah b'dorosav. He was a leader, and he understood he must go and do this. Es Elokim hishalech Noach. He did it because the Eibishter told him to do it. The Eibishter gezagt, that's nachnish chesed. Chesed is not about the Eibishter. The gezagt tam chesed. What's this do? What is the you in it? What do you feel? That's Avraham's chesed. Avraham's chesed wasn't that he was tzmei'im v're'evim. If it was tzmei'im v're'evim, seichel says you have to have rachmanus. Humanity, English, English, upfoded. Humanity foded, help the tzmei'im. Goyim also do chesed when it's needed. But Avraham Avinu's chesed is geven a midah fun chesed. He was driven to the chesed. He didn't come from chochmah. It came from lev and midos. Avraham Avinu's geven, goyimul nafshoi ish chesed. The mensch, the mahus fun a mensch, is geven chesed. Noach had getan chesed, meyredike chesed, hafla...

And if you want to minimize it, it's impossible to minimize the nice chesed of Noach. The shaila is, where is Noach? And that's what Chazal are saying, Lo nechshav l'klum. They'll mention. It's a whole different thing. The ma'aseh, ach Noach. When Avraham Avinu is mekaneh the ma'aseh chesed of Noach, when iyuv tut meir di chasadim, rabosai. Re'eivim etzmeihem. Avraham, it's not about the mind that tells him to do the chesed. And you know the nafka mina would be? Let's say the chesed is not warranted. Ah, what happens when the chesed is not warranted? So you say, ... mishpachuyos ... meicheteisa. Avraham doesn't make a cheshbon of meicheteisa. Avraham's chesed is anybody, anything. Bris milah, estach patur. Avraham Avinu patur. That's patur l'chol hade'os. So you're right, that's called chesed mitacheshbon. Chesed mitacheshbon patur. If chesed is who I am, that's the breath, the air that I breathe, on dem ken ich nisht. Del darga fun chesed fun Avraham is ish chesed. It's another chesed, habeis. Mameila it's not called zonis habriyos. Zonis habriyos is humanitarian, re'eivim etzmeihem, humanitarian. Sounds good. It's hot nisht mit Avraham Avinu's chesed. That's the ... l'sheimcha, it's a l'kiyum ... Noach. A tut es, la de eybishter gezogt, talya naisa. Zeit a chayn levracha. Tomi a zach haflafel. The alte from Slabodka. Zeidig, when a talmid in Slabodka before he went to Chofetz Chaim, she told me a lot of beautiful things from the alter. One Friday afternoon, he's in the store shopping for Shabbos, and he sees a Yid man shopping. Shabbos. He sees מסתמא the basket. מסתמא today, hey, we have wagons, Baruch Hashem, we're able to have a lot of food for Shabbos. But that, מסתמא, was just a little basket, basar, fish, chveiz, a trukene zup, I don't know, whatever they got over there, okay? And probably they had to pay more for it than we pay for it, al kol panim, yeah? Yunger man, what are you doing here? Looks at him. Shopping for Shabbos. Az eybiger man in kedushin said, Rav machrich reisha, ravin balach shibuta. Preparations for Shabbos. Anything wrong with what the guy answered? Shit. Az anander volt gezogt, zol zayn gebencht, he should be gebenched. The alter started to yell at him, What the geber? ... du bist. The guy's looking around, Did I say—did I miss something? What did I say? Sogt em der alter, volt es nisht geshtanen in der Gemara, voltst es nisht getan. Alein farshteyst nisht, darfst helfen a bayis of Shabbos. You don't understand on your own that you have to help with the house. You have to do it because the Gemara says to do it. You have to do it because the Tanoim did it. Alein farshteystish. The olam's looking at me as if I'm from a different planet. It is from a different planet, רבתי. We have no shayches to this anymore, כמעט. Everything we do, ... which is good, ... But what about the Yidden? You don't understand, on your own, ... Once heard from my Rebbe, Rav Belsky. Avadeh there's a shiur that stuck. You know how many times people say, I gave more than the shiur. So Rav Belsky said, What? That's when you want to give when the guy's not asking and there's no need. But when there's a need, ... What's hot es mit the shiurim? What's hot es mit the din? What's hot es mit the halachos? Nothing to do with anything. How about the Yidden, you, to help ...? These are big musagim. Efsher ... Avraham Avinu. You want to know what it means to be zera shel Avraham? Rachmanim, bayshanim, gomlei chasadim. That's what it means. Doesn't mean warranted. There's a whole world that does favors and chesed when it's warranted.

There is chesed and another chesed. That's Avraham Avinu's chesed. Titen emes l'Yaakov, chesed l'Avraham. It's a whole different chesed, rabosai. Avraham's chesed is a chesed in mahus velt of menschen, and must have chesed, erkennen on them chesed. Az evi einer kennt on shlafen un essen, Avraham Avinu mit zayne kinder is on chesed, me'kentish. Can't be without chesed; something's missing. That's called Avraham Avinu's chesed, rabosai. And it's not chochmah, and it's not sad l'somchoi. With this, I understand why, Ilu hayah b'doroi shel Avraham. Why are we measuring up? I asked you, Noach to Avraham. Noach is Noach. Mumei zayn Avraham Avinu. We're talking about the chesed here. Ilu hayah b'doroi shel Avraham, then you would all of a sudden a naye zach was nischadesh geworden mit Avraham Avinu. Vos meit chesed, to the point that all the chesed in the world, which was halfle fela, halfle fela, pela, feder briyah, zanes habriyah. It's not. It's nisht a zelbe zach. It's nisht a zelbe mensch. That's not the same person. Noach is ein metzius, and Avraham is a metzius acheres, a completely different metzius. Chazal tell us that Noach made a very big mistake. If you look at the Haftorah, Yeshayah, it's called Mei Noach. The mabul is named after Noach. Yitachen. Noach, you want to name the mabul after him? The Holocaust. Why would we name the Holocaust after the person that did something for the tzibbur? He built a teivah, he did it. At that pasuk it says, from the s'rufim, Noach, the zoyafrekt a kasha. Should have davened. Let me ask you a kasha, rabosai. Why takke didn't he daven? Takke gute kasha, huh? Why wasn't he nisgadaven? Noach davened. You're חייב to daven. No? The teretz, rabosai, is: he did the teivah, he gave them מוסר, heichicha. They still didn't do teshuvah. You know what he figured? They don't deserve it. They don't deserve it. It's kaptzinisht. That's only when the chesed is mitchacham, mitcheshbon. Avraham Avinu hispalel, he davened for who? S'dom. They didn't deserve it either. And the shlach tzrich mitnebisht, s'dom. S'dom was the antithesis of Avraham Avinu. Everything Avraham Avinu stood for, a nandevolt getanst in the gasen of a zashmuel. Could you imagine you go tell Avraham Avinu that his biggest enemy, his biggest loychem, his biggest anti, all from getanst in gas? No. The chesed is mechayev, even though in cheshbon it doesn't make sense. It's nisht. Al pi cheshbon, Baruch Hashem, avodah shehayu b'gina, again the karap al hama'asim. How much chilul Hashem was in S'dom. How much riches was in Stein. The teretz is, chesed is chesed. It doesn't have to do with chachmah; it has to do with ahavah, with ahavas hachesed. The Ramban even says a lashon that the Eibishter came to tell him this, so l'zayin k'tainei nishpet, bizol zogen Avraham Avinu niskadem afatzdoyn. So he shteit in Ramban. Edaf af daven in Fatzdoyn, when the teretz is, yeah. Un noiach shelo hispalel al doroi? It's a siman. It's a siman on the chesed, that he did chesed, what he had to do. You know, the dor hamabul, they used to steal less than a shaveh prutah. In din, they're not doing anything wrong. It's not nitn l'hishaven b'din. What was their cheshbon? That was their cheshbon. I thought it. What was their cheshbon? Cheshbon. Di bein adam l'chaveiro, if they can get away with it al pi halachah, it's no problem, no problem. Good, there's raids, gezeilah, the rishonim, the acharonim, they're busy with the shailah. The chafatan is gezeilah, good. But in their minds, the pshat is, mit a cheshbon. But stam, gamru to forget it? No, that's what...

You can't steal from somebody else. But if I take less than a shaveh prutah, if I take less than a shaveh prutah, so in cheshbon of din, you can't catch me. ... Under tikun of כ״ז, עולם חסד יבנה. עולם חסד יבנה. There's a Chazal, and as I look at the time, I'll maybe speed up a tiny drop. There's an interesting Chazal that even though he was called Tzadik Tamim, yet he was still called ish ha'adamah. He was called ish ha'adamah, Noach, ויקרא את שמו נח, לאמר: זה ינחמנו. Moshe Rabbeinu was called ish Mitzri, ... he was called ish haElokim. Noach, tzaddik tamim, yet ish ha'adamah. Says up the Chazal, a medrash. ... And I think the pshat in the medrash is gevaldik. Tzadik tamim, yeah, but vos is Noach? ויקרא את שמו נח. The ma'asim gevaldik. Moshe Rabbeinu, ish Mitzri. He looked like a Mitzri, but the ma'asim, did unbelievable chesed when he came as an ish Mitzri. It leaked out the menshishkeit, ish haElokim. Noach, ish ha'adamah. At the end, at the end of all this chasadim, Noach is ... But then, rabosai, we'll zog an a pshat. Time is late. The Medrash says a meiredike zach. You know what the chisaron of the dor when they stole the leshon of the Shavuos? So the Medrash says, כיפעלת חכמת התורה. אזי זאגט דער מדרש, כיפעלת חכמת התורה. ס'האט מירוב, חכמים, פרעגן, וואס האט דאס שייכות צו חכמת התורה? How did that come into the picture? Rabosai, מדקדק המאירי יסוד. There's different chochmah, and chochmah of the world is mechayev to outsmart the other guy. That's called chochmah. There's something called chochmas haTorah, which is the opposite. אז מלמד תורה, the chochmah that comes from that Torah is an entirely different chochmah. It's a chochmah fakert; it's a healthy one. פיה פתחה בחכמה. Chochmah, וסוראס חסד על לשונה. It's a whole different Torah, rabosai. The chochmah, the guy, he's Esav. Esav is meiredik chochmah. Something, Yaakov Avinu... Yesh bnei chacham. I have a different type of chacham. It's called, ish tam yoshev ohalim. You look at him, you say, וואי, he's naive, he's this, he's that. You say, חסד. It's another level. It's another chochmah, rabosai. פיו פתח בחכמה. U'mitem chachmas chachmas nashim bנתה ביתה. This one's a mamish something, a gevald chachamim. People always thought they're naive. Remember the Baba, lahashem. It was with such wisdom. Why it was תורת חסד על לשונה. It's a whole different chochmah, rabosai. It's the Torah of chesed, which comes only from Torah. אגנתא דורא המבול. There were no chachamim, and the answer is there was no chachmas haTorah. That's why it looks the way it does. Zeh, the zechaina of Lvracha was me'oirer baal chesed, was always garbed with inyanei chesed. So Reb Simcha Elberg, zichrono livracha, got up at the shloshim of my zeide, and he said that my zeide once discussed with him, uf efen a kolel, research how to do chesed. We have kollelim for halacha, we have kollelim...

This, this, this mitzvah, that mitzvah, research in medical. He wants to open up a kollel, research in chesed, how to mechadesh chiddushim in chesed. I don't believe. I mean, he said it in shloshim. That's Avraham Avinu. Avraham Avinu, through the chachmas haTorah, was able to do chesed, which is not shayach on Torah. It's not shayach. Because then it becomes, you're right, as long as I'm not stealing from the other guy, who says I have to do that chesed? Titen emes l'Yaakov, chesed l'Avraham. Now it's interesting, why does it first titen emes l'Yaakov and then chesed l'Avraham? Rav Shtein flipped out. Titen chesed l'Avraham and emes l'Yaakov. Miel dacht zich דער וועלט, הייבט זיך. Through the titen emes l'Yaakov comes the chesed l'Avraham. On the minute, shayach in chesed l'Avraham, ki b'or panecha nasata lanu Hashem Elokeinu. Nu? Torah's chayim. The ahavas chesed, it's linked together, havei say. It goes together. The Torah's chayim, when a person learns Torah, he is davuk to Hashem. Then comes ahavas chesed. That's where it comes from. Ahavah, balimusa-speak, it has to be ahavas chesed. Ahavas chesed, ahavas chesed. It has to come through ki b'or panecha nasata lanu... What's Torah's chayim? Torah is lebedig. A person who changes his whole mahus, his whole life, with the Torah. That's called, בְּאוֹר פָּנֶיךָ נָתַתָּ לָנוּ, ה' אֱלֹקֵינוּ. We say it every day in davening, Pe'er as chayim. Ahavas chesed. I'm zoche to see this vort in the Sfas Emes, Parshas Vayeira. He says this yesod, and he says that's why it's called chesed shel emes. Why the burial of a person is called chesed shel emes? Because it's a chesed that you do it l'shem a chesed, without expecting anything. So why is it called emes? So the Sfas Emes, emes, it has to do with Torah emes. Chesed al zah kumt fun Torah. When a person learns Torah, to the chesed shel emes. That's why, because Torah is Torahs emes. Azoi zogt the Sfas Emes. It's called chesed shel emes. Zogt the Sfas Emes, because emes is Torah. Real chesed only comes through Torah. Azoi zogt. And he says that's, בְּאוֹר פָּנֶיךָ נָתַתָּ לָנוּ, ה' אֱלֹקֵינוּ, תּוֹרַת חַיִּים, וְאַהֲבַת חֶסֶד. I want to end with a maiseh, chaveirim. All right? I don't only want you to walk away with a toskin a sheine shiur, a noyach. I want you to walk away, how do I take this and apply it l'maaseh? So I'll show you. Someone in my shul, nebach has a child that's very sick. Nebach. Shreklech machla, shreklech. In town, there's an organization called Mesameach. The person runs Mesameach, a gemane Yeshiva. Doesn't stop calling. How could we arrange this singer to come to him, and that singer, and this singer, and that singer? I go to the father. The father says the child is not up to it. He's an adult, more or less. He's a teenager. He's not up to it. Think he let go? No. He must have called me before Yom Tov. I'll show you on my phone. This should upkill us again and again and again, and I keep on calling the father. One time I was telling him, maybe he told you already. He's not holding by it. And then I said, you know what? Az er ruft, fal evelt ander chesed, I'm not going to say, I'll call the father again. And I called again and again and again, and the answer is, No, no, no, no, no. He's not up to it. He even calls me up, Shweki. Yes, he got into the shiur, Shweki, you hear? He's on the block and he's ready to come to the guy's house. Ready to come. I called the father, not interested. Chitzah calls me up one day. He tells me, This chaylah is in CHOP. We're right there in CHOP now, together with...

We still have ... for the great singers, yeah? They're ready to go to his room. I said, I'll call him. I'll call him again. I must have called him thirty times already. I call him up, not holding. You know what the person did? So another ... okay, yotzei, no? Went to the store to buy pens, two beautiful pens, bring it to the choleh to mechazek him. Thus, two pens, they brought him to bring this bachur. He's not up to the singing, okay, but at least he should know he came for him. They brought him two beautiful pens. What he does is zarah shel Avraham Avinu. That's called chesed. Chesed means, I do and I do because I have to. I can't, no, I can't take no for an answer. That is zera shel Avraham Avinu. What he does that in my house. Meileh, we have to work and teach our children ahavas chesed. It's not enough just to do chesed and to understand there's a chelek of Torah chayim. Torah chayim gets a zamin, and they'll siman for Torah chayim. There's a ahavas chesed. You've just experienced another Torah class brought to you by TorahAnytime.com.
