Transcript

Tonight, taruvus. And I don't mean taruvus bas b'chalav. I mean taruvus boirer. What's called taruvus l'gabei boirer? It's yedua that in order for it to be boirer, it has to be me'urav, it has to be mixed. That everybody knows. What's a little less known and a little less clear is that what's called me'urav. The yesod of the word me'urav is actually from a trumas hadeshen. So in case anybody asks you, boirer me'urav, remember that at the mekor of it is a trumas hadeshen, siman nun zayin. And that's a trumas hadeshen that the yesod of boirer needs that it has to be me'urav. If it's not me'urav, then what you do is it's not nun zayin, siman nun zayin. What does the word me'urav mean? So for the sake of clarity, I'd like to put forth two interpretations to the word me'urav. Me'urav could mean mixed together. There could be another interpretation and translation. Me'urav could mean mixed up. The difference is kerchok mizrach mimaarav. It sounds very much the same, but actually those that are medakdek in language, those that, you know, are meticulous in lashon, you'll know that it means something completely different. Mixed together would be flour and water is mixed together. It's not mixed up, right? It's mixed together. When things are not, so to speak, mamish attached, but they're, I guess, messed up in a box, so to speak, that what you would call what? Mixed up, right? Very big difference, right? Spoons and forks are not mixed together, right? What they are is mixed up. Okay. Maybe people would use the word mixed together, but it's its wrong language. There's a very big difference. Flour and water is called mixed up together, maybe, meaning it's graded put together. Okay.
